The sky darkens. A Storm is happening again.

Things weren’t always like this, centuries ago. You’re sure that you’ve read at some point that rain and weather used to be a natural phenomenon rather than being controlled by humans. But in the year 3072, where technology had advanced by leaps and bounds in comparison to the past, you can’t be sure what isn’t man-made anymore.

As thunder rumbles, everyone dashes to take cover. No one wants to stay outside during a Storm. Doing so would be a death wish.

The Calm Before the Storm is a cyberpunk visual novel about trying to find the whereabouts of your missing friend after they went missing during a ‘Storm’ — and maybe uncovering the truth behind the city once and for all.
